The story goes Goodnight Electric has been inspired with youtube’s ‘broadcast yourself”. Is this true?

So inspiring it made you want to do what?

Our own TV channel. Goodnight electric TV. I’ve this idea from a long time a go. It got delayed for a bit. I just don’t know how youtube works. Just couldn’t be bothered to find out about How to upload a video, What kind of format, size, compression etc…till i found it.

What is the gory thoughts behind  GE TV?

The concept is of course “Broadcasting yourself”. Everyone can do this right now. So i think it’s a good idea to make Goodnight Electric’s TV station. Youtube is become our promotion tool, not only music video, we’ll add other topic such live music and tour diary report or even an absurd or parodical shows like Food taste report, wedding crasher, celebrity interview etc… I think our Good.friends will love it

So, Who does the production?

Mostly me, HF, for production and post-pro as well. I also collect music videos of Goodnight Electric from whoever director who made it. And for other programs we’d do it together (goodnight electric).  I used to do this line of production, it was my job. So I’ll take care of this whole sharade…

Speaking of music video and ape-shit, I heard that you’re big fans of director Wes Anderson. Any favorite work of his that stands out for you?

I adore all of his work. But my fav is Rushmore and his latest work Darjeeling Limited. Awesome!

Any of GE TV works inspired by it?

Whoooo….no. It’s different. GETV is more like serious joking. Seriously stupid jokes overboard

The three of you liked doing the stupid stuff, at the end, how do you feel about it

We didn’t mean to kid ourselves actually. We try so hard to build our image as cool as we can - to look  like an indie f***in pop band. I guess we’re failed. People still never take us seriously.

What other subjects do you touch on in GE TV?

We design several programs. But we’re running 4 programs for this first 2 month
There’s Music Video, Live Act Video, Food Taste Report and What’s News….
Later we’ll make Fairy Dairy, it’s a Goodnight Electric’s tour diary and Behind The Cable Boy, It’s about music recording, album production etc

How you think think this’ll affect the band, considering how your voice will come out after GE TV
